In any profession that constantly deals with those who are in the throes of divorce, compromise of privacy, security, and confidentiality are always a concern. How can you eliminate or minimize such risk? Is your client violating any laws if he/she reads the other spouse's email messages? Your client, who is fighting for custody, does not realize that her teen is using the Internet for pornography, but your client's husband kknows! How can you help your client who is being stalked on the Internet? Come and learn about these situations and more!

Thomas E. Workman, Jr., Esquire
Attorney Workman has a solo practice in Taunton. In addition to his criminal law practice, he operates a computer forensics business, providing assistance to attorneys whose cases involve computer or Internet evidence. He has testified as an expert in district, juvenile, probate, superior, and federal couts in Massachusetts and throughout the United States. His technical analysis on cases has resulted in the demonstration of factual innocence of clients, resulting in dismissal of charges, or in termination of investigations prior to the filing of charges.
Attorney Workman has spoken on topics ranging from how software relates to breath test instruments to recent legal developments in online child pornography. Attorney Workman serves on the board of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and has authored numerous papers on technology and the law. He was awarded the first annual "Technolawyer of the Year" for his many contributions to the Internet community.
